ABOUT BRAD DIENO
Hi, my name is Brad Dieno, curator of On-the-Hard Gallery in Weymouth. On arriving in Halifax, Nova Scotia airport you may notice the centre of attraction was a rather large watercolour gallery. Well because my background is in Animation from Sheridan College, I spent 3 years with some of the top Disney artists. All Disney animation backgrounds are watercolours and I fell in love with the medium. The watercolour gallery in the Halifax airport displayed some of the best artists samples of the watercolour medium I have seen all in one place and that is including a Turner Exhibit that I saw at the AGO.
To make painting watercolours my livelihood is a dream I have always had, and I would like to share it with you and other artists on the internet.Technology is a curse and a blessing. Together we can make it a blessing as I get to know fellow artist across the province and hopefully across Canada.
